As many of you know Luis Villatoro was the first Charlie's Lunchroom Director in Los Ocotes, Guatemala. Since 1999 he and his wife Eva along with their 3 daughters have been ministering to some of the poorest children on the planet and serving them Charlie's Lunch. In 2013 they embarked on a new journey when they headed to India to become missionaries. Since then they have been building a church, several schools, an orphanage and facilitating Charlie's Lunch in their community. Unfortunately a few months ago while in Guatemala raising support for their next tenure in India, Eva was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then they have had to postpone returning to India while she has started undergoing treatment. First off, please join us in praying for this wonderful family during this extremely hard time. Additionally, the cancer treatment and surgery cost is estimated to reach $50,000.00 or more. We would like to raise as much financial assistance as possible for them.
